Words from our CEO, Anders Nejsum
With a single agreement, close to three million people in Denmark will now gain access to Visikon’s easy-to-understand, visual healthcare communication.
We’ve signed a groundbreaking new agreement with the future Region East Denmark — currently known as the Capital Region and Region Zealand — which grants all hospitals in the region full access to Visikon’s platform. This includes thousands of clinically validated animated films that help patients understand what to expect before, during, and after their treatment.
This is a significant milestone for everyone involved.
For the region’s 60,000+ healthcare professionals, it means better support in their communication with patients and families. Better-prepared patients free up valuable time and resources — allowing staff to focus on what truly matters.
For Visikon, the agreement is a major breakthrough. It allows us to demonstrate, at scale, the value of our clinically grounded animations — covering topics like heart surgery or cancer treatment — and how they empower patients and relatives alike. Ultimately, this helps make our healthcare system more effective and human-centered.
We look forward to expanding the strong collaborations we already have with many departments, and deepening the integration of our platform with the region’s systems — ensuring that citizens always encounter our healthcare communication where and when they need it.
