I may look very serious here, but it was super exiting and insightful to participate at the conference ‘Qualitative Research on Health and Technology’ at Sjællands Universitetshospital last week.
One of the keynotes I especially enjoyed was Bjarke Lund Sorensen, leading obstetric physician at Næstved, Slagelse og Ringsted sygehuse Obstetric Department and Anne Nistrup, chief consultant and qualitative researcher at the university hospital.
They presented a project using the Visikon app, My Treatment, to support pregnancy with complications, where they performed a qualitative field study on the implementation and effects of the solution.
Very interesting insights – and very promising results we all can be proud of.
I had the pleasure to engage with many curious clinicians and researchers in the breaks and I enjoyed the talks around qualitative research in healthcare very much. It is so crucial to get deep data and insights from both patients and healthcare workers.
